Crab and Miso, what a beautiful rich flavor each ingredient has…and that’s what really is needed to make this beautiful soup, not much else! You will be surprised to taste such an amazing rich profound taste that this simple combination creates!
Ingredients (serve 4)
160g crab legs (with shell), cut into enough size to fit in a bowl
100g daikon radish, cut into 6cm length 5mm width
10cm green onion, sliced
1 sheet (8cm piece) dried kelp
4 tablespoons miso
5 cups water
- Prepare a deep pan, and add 5 cups of water, dried kelp, crab legs, and daikon radish. Cook over medium heat, and remove the kelp when the water starts to simmer.
- Skim off the scum from the soup when it boils. Cook over low heat for 10 minutes.
- Add 4 tablespoons of miso and stir gently.
- Right before serving, add the sliced green onions on top.
